So fun fact: I’m pretty fond of the Sly Cooper series

And while I’m really looking to the fourth game, which is looking better the more I see of it, there is one thing that drives me up the wall about it

The left is Carmelita Fox’s design from the first three games, and the right is Sanzaru’s redesign for Sly 4

And it’s so

awful

in every conceivable way

She’s gotten absurdly skinny, her lips are perpetually puckered, her top’s gotten smaller, she’s now wearing a miniskirt and she ditched the combat boots for PLATFORM HEELS WHY

I’m not going to pretend the original design was super amazing, but I actually did kind of like it and you could at least take her seriously as an officer

This is just straight-up painful to me as a character designer
