In the comic I've seen Poppy referred to as Ms. Possum and Mrs. Possum. She has even been referred to as both by the same character (Nora calls her Ms. in chapter 5 and Mrs. in chapter 6). Is this simply a slight mistake when typing the dialogue? I mean I know for sure I've mixed the two up plenty of times before but it is a bit odd since you've told us that Poppy has never been married before so she wouldn't have the Mrs. honorific.
Several characters aren’t actually sure if Poppy is married or not and she rarely corrects anyone about it.
Are the trees of life all like the Ovis tree or are there varieties based on the real world climate of the animals it represents. For example would a hyena have a Ovis like tree or would it be more savanna like? Would the octopus tree be a "regular" tree or would it be in the ocean and have kelp attached to it instead of leaves?

probably has been mentioned before, but how far does diversity go in Poppy? There are mammals, birds, and reptiles, sure, but are there amphibian people? Fish people? Lancelet people? Any invertebrates? Where is the line drawn?

Fantomet sure is being nice, letting Poppy call her Madame! That's only the equivalent of "my lady". She could have claimed Her Majesty if she's Queen Mother or Queen Consort, or if being a low-ranking wife means she's just Princess Consort or Co-Consort or similar, Her Highness or Her Grace. What a friendly ol' gal she is.
